Girls Link Up™ was launched by 3D Girls, Inc. in the Fall of 2020 as a virtual mentoring program to help bridge the gap between young women and STEAM. Participants gather weekly to engage in live STEAM demonstrations, virtual job shadowing experiences, health, and wellness sessions. The Girls Link Up program targets girls of color in an effort to support their social and emotional needs, all while exposing and empowering them to pursue STEAM college and career pathways.
The Girls Link Up Youth Pitch Competition is a pitch contest for girls in Georgia in grades 6 – 12. The purpose of this competition is to extend opportunities for young female entrepreneurs to access funding and capital needed to nourish their budding businesses. Our goal is to create a bridge in funding to improve the quality of life for the next generation of young women and girls of color.
It is a program for girls to receive mentorship and guidance as they connect their passions to problem solving solutions. This experience offers participants comprehensive mentorship and support from professionals specializing in business development, marketing, and branding. We believe the exposure will link participants to potential funders and peers who are equally passionate about solving problems through innovation.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Application is open to girls grades 6-12 living in the state of Georgia who have an entrepreneurial focus in one of the following areas:
- Social Change
- STEAM
- Health & Beauty
- There are two levels of participation: Junior Level (grades 6-8) & Senior Level (grades 9-12)
- Participants must submit a 2 minute introduction video about their business and the problem that they are solving.
- Videos should be moderately produced on a cell phone or handheld video device.
- Do not edit video submissions
- Submit via YouTube Link with the online application
4.) Submit a completed application and application fee online by April 2, 2021 at 5:00PM.
Timeline for Finalists:
- Application Deadline – 1 month – March 1, 2021 – April 2, 2021
- Registration Fee – $25 or individuals & $75 for teams

3.) Notify Participants/Parents – May 7, 2021
4.) Participant Meeting with Mentors – May 15, 2021
5.) Submit Pitch Deck/Presentation (Deadline) – June 4, 2021
a) Pitch Deck Presentations must not exceed five slides.
b) MUST include business background and what funds will be utilized for to advance your business.
